SECRET GARDEN ÇIRALI

Çıralı, which has hosted many civilizations throughout the history and has been subject of myths, attracts attention with its natural richness.
The Antique Olympos City with its history of ages and Chimeira, which is the fire of Lykia that doesn't go out, are like an open museum in the natural beauties of Çıralı. 3,2 km long Çıralı beach is one of the significant reproduction areas of caretta carettas in the Mediterranean. When you reach Çıralı passing to a 7 km valley from the highway, you see unique orange and lemon gardens. A deep blue sea just in front of the gardens. Çıralı is like a secret garden.
Within the scope of the project carried out in Çıralı by the Foundation of Preserving Natural Life, the Turkey Representation of WWF (World Nature Protection Foundation), the project was expanded taking into consideration the protection of the living and reproducing areas of the sea tortoises Caretta Carettas, the biological richness of the area, the variety of its fauna and flora. Ecologic agriculture has been improved with the request and contributions of the region's people. These studies made for a sustainable agriculture and tourism was awarded the best implementation prize by being one of the best 10 from the 110 countries and 700 projects in the competition organized by the United Nations Commission of Human Settlement (UNCHS) Habitat in year 2000. DHKO (Foundation of Preserving Natural Life) and the Çıralı people aims to be a model for the preservation of the present situation of Çıralı and leaving it to the next generations.


FAUNA FLORA

It is one of the regions where most fertile lands of Turkey take place. Organic agriculture is made in the village. The vegetables and fruits are very delicious. You can see lots of rare plants and bird species in Çıralı, which covers all colors of the nature. In the garden of our motel, one of these birds can come just beside you while you are having your breakfast or you can hear the voices of these birds while you are resting in your room.
